so after an unexpected emeragancy I ended up with an unplanned night off, and thought what better way to take my mind off things and relax after a pretty stressful day than a nice long bath.
Tonight’s product of choice was the dragons egg bath bomb. I brought this the other day during a trip to lush Taunton , and it has been sat in my van tempting me ever since.
Dragons egg was one of the first ever products I tried from lush and has always been in my top favourites which I think is due to its citrus scent ( I definitely a fan of this scent family). The appearance of this product isn’t showoffy like some of lushes other products. It is a nice large size and it mainly white in colour, although you can see little bits of bright pink, blue and yellow poking through its outer layer. I would like to think of dragons eggs where about this is what they would look like.
Dragons egg does have a lovely scent that straight away reminded me of lemon sherberts, but isn’t too overpowering.
Once popped in the bath dragons egg fizzes away rather slowly compared to some of the other products and creates lashings of creamy white foam. And leaving the odd blob of colour made by the rice paper confetti enclosed within its shell.
The exciting thing about this product is that it almost lures you in to a false sense of security as it bounces slowly around your bath. When all of a sudden it reaches its centre and like an egg would it oozes a golden core and begins to fizz a lot faster. It also contains a small amount of my favourite popping candy. There was even a small amount of shimmer although it was so subtle I didn’t notice this until I had got out of the bath.
Lush describe this bath bomb as
Dragons egg makes bath time exciting as it fizzes and crackles and changes the colour of your water to a georgeous citrus gold. It’s scent is reminiscent of lemon sherbert, with a hint of jasmine, leaving you feeling great and ready for a good day. It’s citrus scents leave you feeling transformed and invigorated.
Well my May not have had the exspolive performance I have grown to love but this bath bomb defiantly put on a show and left me feeling soft and silky smooth. It’s citrus scent also left me feeling re energised and my spirits uplifted.
Overall I will be keeping this product in my top ten. If you haven’t tried this bath bomb yet make sure you pop it on your shopping list as you won’t be disappointed.
