Banana Skin Naked Facial Oil – Lush Review

After seeing a new and exciting rage of naked facial product were a available at this years Lush showcase (2018) but not being able to get my hands on any, I was very excited to see this range released online as part of the Lush labs.

One of the products from the range that I was most excited about trying was the Banana Skin naked facial oil. Lush currently have one facial serum available as part of their regular line called Full of Grace. I have used this product for years and absolutely love it. The Banana skin facial oil however has now become my new favourite.

Containing fresh banana and mango butter this facial oil has the most delightful scent. It’s aroma is a creamy fruity scent, I personally think it smells like bananas and custard and it almost tastes good enough to eat. I literally can’t wait to take my makeup off at the end of a day just so I can pop this wonderful product onto my skin.

The Naked facial oils are very easy to use. You can apply the product directly onto the skin or melt it between your fingers and apply it that way. The banana skin facial oil does melt very easily and as soon as it makes contact with the skin it begins to melt making it very easy to apply as it just glides across the skin. Due to how easy this product does melt be carefully where you leave it as if left anywhere to hot you will end up with a melted mess.

After using this product I instantly noticed how soft my skin felt. The product feels very luxurious to use and I was very impressed at how quickly I could see results in the appearance of my skin. This facial oil is great for adding hydration to thristy skin. Which means the product will be brilliant to use over the winter months especially if you get dry skin like I do.

The banana skin facial oil is a very rich product and although I don’t find it heavy on the skin, I do find it takes a while for my skin to absorb all of the product. Therefore I much prefer to use this product a nighttime meaning my skin has all the time I’m sleeping to absorb and make the most of the wonderful ingredients.

I am absolutely in love with this product and once again I am keeping my fingers crossed that this product will make an appearance in stores very soon.
