Although lush produce lots of limited edition products for different celebrations throughout the year including mother day, they have never brought a range out to coincide with father day. This year however lush have dicided to bring out a range of exclusive products for this occasion. Although not currently available in the uk I have heard through grape vine that they should be hitting uk stores some time in May. 

The Superdad bath bomb is one of the products coming in this years Father’s Day range. I was quite impressed by its detailed design. Quite large in size this bath bomb if a flat design rather than you typical round shape. With a comic book feel to it, the product has a fun and quirky zig zag design, and reminds me of when you see the speech bubbles in comics with pow and zap written in them. Which works brilliant with the superman play on words to make Superdad! Although mainly blue in colour it is decorated with red a lining and yellow for the wording of dad. Making this product very colourful and eye catching! 

Scent wise this product wasn’t really what I was expecting at all, as I thought from the bright colours this would be a very strong and overpowering aroma. I found however it was a much more subtle and gentle scent. I found this scent to be quite complexed, very musky, powdery scent. The scent is a mix of gentle florals with a touch of sweet vanilla. It doesn’t smell like anything I have tried before and all though not my cup of tea scent wise I think a lot of people are really going to enjoy this one. 

Once popped in the water this bath bomb instantly starts to fizz away created loses and lots of vivid blue foam across the surface of the water. Although fizzing fast this product took ages to fully dissolve, as it got smaller swirls of yellow and red entwined with the blue creating quite a show. I did find that because the scent was so gently it did vanish quite quickly, but my partner did say he could pick up the scent in the bathroom so maybe I had just got use to it. But the bath was left such a beautiful bright blue colour I didn’t mind to much about the scent. 

Overall I really loved the design of this product and I’m very glad that they are bringing a range of products out for Father’s Day. Although I wasn’t keen on the scent of this one but I loved its bright colours and relaxing properties.
