Modfather Bubble Bar – Lush Review

This year lush are bringing a Father’s Day range out for the first time. These limited edition products should be hitting uk stores some point in May. One of these eagerly awaited limited edition products is the Modfather bubbler bar.

This bubble bar is Inspired by the British Mod culture. The Mod is a subculture that began in 1960s in Britain and spread, to other countries. mod subculture include fashion (often tailor-made suits); music (including soul, ska, and R&B); and motor scooters (usually Lambretta or Vespa) mods were also famous for their rivalry with the rockers. This product is designed to look like the classic mod symbol and is sure to bring back many memories to those to have grown up or heard stories about the famous Mods.

Quite small in size this bright blue bubble bar will last you two baths but I personally think you would struggle to get more than that from this product. Scent wise I was really expecting this product to smell more ‘manly’, however it is a very beautiful sweet orange scent. Containing Brazilian orange oil as its main ingredient, this bubble bar is very fruity and I found that the scent instantly filled the room. I found the scent of the Modfather bubble bar to be very uplifting and the perfect product to help you to de stress.

Once crumbled under running water this bubble bar produced a rather impressive amount of bubbles for its little size. It also turned the water a very vivid bright blue. I did however find the scent to disappear quite quickly but I did only use half the product do I guess the more you use the greater the scent.

Overall I really enjoyed this product, I love the scent and I think the design and inspiration behind this product is brilliant. This product will be fab as a Father’s Day gift (I know il be getting my dad one) or as a little treat for yourself.
