We all know how popular slime is these days, everyone just loves it! But Shower Slime!!!!!! That is something completely different and one of the things I love about lush so much is there ability to invent such fun and quirky products.
Boo! Shower slime is a new product in this years Halloween range and I think it’s the most perfect spooky addition.
The shower slime is quite hard to explain but it’s basically a thicker shower gel that comes in a pot rather than a bottle. It is literally a slightly runny slime and very gooey. I love the concept of the shower slime, I think it’s a great product to make Bath time a little more fun for younger ones or for us older one to.
The boo shower slime is a wonderfully very sparkly black colour. The sheer amount of glitter that is in this shower slime is crazy, it gives the slime a wonderful galaxy effect.
The scent of the Boo shower slime really isn’t quite what I was expecting. It shares its scent with the much loved snow fairy scent from the Christmas range. The Snow Fairy scent is a very sweet, bubblegum scent. It is one of my all time favourite scents just not what I was expecting this shower slime to smell like.
To use the shower slime simply scoop out your desired amount from the pot add some water and then use it just like you would a shower gel! The shower slime contains cornflour to clean the skin, bamboo to lightly buff the skin and Xanthan gum to soften and moisturise (this also makes the slime, slimey)
Warning it is a lot messier than a shower gel!! However it hasn’t yet caused any staining to my bath!!! I have also have found it a little sticky so does take a bit more effort to wash off than a standard shower gel!
Overall I love the concept of the shower slime, it’s a little too messy for me for an everyday shower product and not something I can see my self buying over and over again. But I think it’s a great quirky product and brilliant for younger children and as a fun present And the bonus is it has an epic scent!!!!!!!!

I love the idea of a shower slime, how unique! It’s weird that it has a bubble gum scent, I would expect something more earthy.

I really want to pick this up soon! 😀 I thought about making a cheeky Halloween/Christmas order, but I’m trying to be good with monies… But all the same I would like to pick this up before it’s gone with the Halloween goodies.
It doesn’t sound ideal to use in the week if you’re in a rush before work, but it sounds fun to use in the bath in the evenings, as well as over the weekends 😀
