Shower oils are a product that I have fallen in love with over the last few months! They first made they appearance at one of the Lush showcases and have been available to buy as an exclusive at the Lush Manchester naked store. This Easter is the first time that the shower oils have been available to buy in every store and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they will start bringing a few more out as they are such a great product.
Shower oils are a solid bar that can be used as a generic skin cleanser or how I like to use them best as a way of adding extra hydration to you skin after washing. I personally think they are a little similar In concept to the body conditions in that you apply the oil to you skin and then rinse off leaving your skin feeling soft and very nourished.
The carrot shower oil has a lovely scent that is sweet and sherbety and slightly fruity. The scent is quite gentle and not overpowering but strong enough that you can notice it on your skin after use.
Although quite small in size as long as kept away from water your shower oil will last for quite a while. I always store mine in an old black lush pot to stop it from getting damp.
After use my skin felt wonderful. This product does contain a lot of oils and butters so make sure you rinse your skin well so you are not left with an oily residue on the skin. This product is great if your are not very good at remembering to put body lotion on (like me) as it helps to give your skin all the moisture it needs.
