Floating Flower Bath Bomb – Lush Review

For as long as I can remember I have always given my mum some flowers on Mother’s Day, I therefore always connect flowers with my mum and love that this year’s Lush Mother’s Day Range (2019) has a huge amount of bath bombs that are inspired by beautiful flowers.

The Floating Flower Bath Bomb is very pretty and boasts a wonderful pale blue colour with a gorgeous chrysanthemum on top. What makes this bath bomb super special is that the fresh flower on top is coated in cocoa butter which will melt to create a very hydrating bath.

The scent of this bath bomb is what really won me over. Not being a huge floral fan Mother’s Day isn’t usually my favourite range as it tends to host of a lot of floral scents. This is still true of this years range but I have so far found that the floral scents seem to be a lot more appealing to to me. The floral scents are a lot more realistic and fresh and not as overpowering as I tend to usually find them. With a whole host of lavender and almond oil this scent is something quite different to what I have tried before from lush. It is a sweet soft floral scent and is absolutely beautiful.

Once in the water the Floating Flower Bath Bomb is a very quick fizzer. As it fizzes away it creates a stunning beautiful pale blue water. As the bath bomb dissolves alway it leaves the chrysanthemum to float as cross the surface of the water. As this happens it’s coating of butters slowly melt adding very hydrating oils to the water which leaves the skin feeling super soft and nourished.

Overall I have highly enjoyed using the floating flower bath bomb. I love it’s elegant design and soft sweet scent. I think this bath bomb would be brilliant as a Mother’s Day gift for anyone special this year.
