I have always been a huge dinosaur fan as long as I can remember! When I was little me and my brother use to watch endless dinosaur programmes and go fossil hunting at the beach. But as I’ve grown up my dinosaur love has just grown, I think they are so fascinating and my favourite item of clothing is my well loved dinosaur shirt.
I was therefore very excited to find two of this years Lush Easter bath bombs were dinosaur themed. The Brontosaurus Fun Egg and Stegosaurus Fun egg are the same in scent but just a little different design.

Stegosaurus Fun Egg (picture form Lush Website)
I decided to go for the Brontosaurus version as that just so happens to be my favourite dinosaur. Like many of this year Easter bath bomb the Fun eggs are very large in size. Made up of two halves and held together by a little raffia bow. Inside of Brontosaurus Fun egg is a little hidden fun dinosaur which really is such a clever and quirky idea form lush.
The Brontosaurus and Stegosaurus Fun Eggs have such an incredible scent. On the Lush website the scent is described as strawberry and peach. I however just pick up on a generic fruity scent with a slight peachy hint. The scent of these two bath bombs isn’t very strong but still strong enough that I was able to pick up on it through my bath. I actually found once in the water the scent really heightened and created a lovely aroma in the water.
Made up of two halves the Brontosaurus Egg can be used for two bath or it can be combined to created one luxurious bath.
Once in the water the bath bomb is quite a quick fizzer. I decided to use both halves so I could see what the bath art was like when combined together. With one pink and one purple half the two dissolved together very quickly and didn’t create much bath art at all. They did turn the water a beautiful light milky purple colour. In the ingredients it is listed that the bath bomb contains popping candy, but i didn’t pick up on this at all when in the water.
My favourite part of the Brontosaurus Fun Egg is defiantly the little fun dinosaur hidden inside. The fun dinosaur is just the right size of a couple of uses or you could use it to create bubbles for your bath. I think it makes this bath bomb extra fun and perfect as an alternative for a chocolate Easter eggs.
Overall I absolutey love the Brontosaurus Fun Egg. I think it is such a brilliant and quirky idea and love that there is the option of two different designs. I also really enjoyed the scent of this bath bomb and the fact you can split it to use over two baths.

The bath bombs for Easter with the little dinosaurs in are SO CUTE! They’re quite expensive in my opinion for what they are but at the same time they sound so yummy. 😀
