On the opening day of the Lush Manchester naked store this year (2019) I was very excited to see a couple of the brand new and exclusive Lush Harajuku bath bombs! One that I have really been looking forward to trying out since I first saw a list of exclusive bath bombs for the Japan store was the bright pink and ever so sparkly lucky Cat.
I’m quite a girly girl in that my favourite colour is pink and I love anything that sparkles infact the more glitter the better so the Lucky Cat Bath Bomb was my perfect Bath Bomb design wise.
From the colouring I was expecting this bath bomb to have a very sweet candy scent similar to snow fairy. I was however pleasantly surprised to find this is not the case at all. The Lucky Cat Bath Bomb has a sweet floral scent. Containing jasmine, neroli and ylang ylang the scent is very fresh and uplifting. I’ve never really tried anything from lush with this scent before but for someone who is not a huge floral fan I absolutely love this scent.
Once in the water I was so disappointed with the Lucky Cat Bath Bomb. It is a very quick fizzer!! In fact I thinks it’s the quickest dissolved bath bomb I have ever had. The whole thing had dissolved within 10 seconds!! I was also expecting the water to turn a lush pink colour due to the bright fuschia outside colour, however the inside of the bath bomb is a light yellow which leaves the water a very wishey washey colour. The one thing that I really did like about this bath bomb in the water was a large amount of tiny multi coloured stars that Floated accross the surface of the water.
Overall I really want to love this bath bomb so much. I love the design and the scent of the Lucky Cat Bath Bomb but I just wish it has been a bit more exciting in the water.
