Chocolate Easter Egg Soap – Lush Review

At Easter I absolutely love a chocolate Easter egg. This is mainly because I’m a huge chocoholic and I grasp any opportunity to indulge in a chocolatey treat. I therefore totally love that this Easter Lush have released their very own chocolate Easter egg in the form of a soap.

Soaps have never really been my favourite product, but over the last few years I have come to really enjoy trying them. The thing I love most about Lush soaps is their designs, a lot of thought and creativity always goes into them and I love to see a full soap in store. The chocolate Easter egg soap looks exactly like you would imagine when you see it in store, it looks just like a Easter egg complete with the prettiest of patterns on it.

The scent of this soap is very citrusy as it contains grapefruit oil and Sicilian lemon oil, but it also has a very sweet element to it. This sweetness comes from the inclusion of white chocolate and vanilla absolute. I really like the scent of this soap, it is refreshing yet also comforting due to its rich creamy sweetness.

I found the chocolate Easter egg soap was a little hard to lather up but once it got going it created a lovely rich lather. The scent was pretty strong and could be picked up for quite a white after using it.

Overall I really enjoyed using this soap, it’s always lots of fun trying out new product and I especially love trying a product that has a scent I haven’t tried before.
