This week I had the chance to go along to the Lush Summit which was held in London. Whilst there I was absolutely ecstatic to find a selection of brand new and exclusive Hot Oil Treatments! 

I am a huge fan of the Lush haircare range, using their products has completely changed the health of my hair and I love exploring the vast range of products they have to offer. I have loved the current solid Hot Oil Treatments and have made them a regular part of my hair care routine, so to see some exciting new releases was absolutely brilliant. 

Out of the four treatments available at the Summit, the one that really caught my attention was the New Hot Oil treatment. This product is based on the New solid shampoo bar and shares the same wonderfully spicy and warming scent. 

The New Hot Oil Treatment contains an array of beneficial ingredients to create a wonderful treatment that will help you to achieve strong heathy hair. The main ingredients in this treatment are cinnamon leaf oil and clove bud which help to boost blood flow which in turn stimulates the hair follicles. Nettle and peppermint to stimulate the scalp and promote healthy hair and Rosemary which helps to calm the scalp and add shine to the hair. 

The Lush Hot Oil Treatments are extremely clever in how they work. To prepare your fresh treatment all you have to do if find a bowl or pot (I like to use an empty Black Lush pot), pop your Treatment into your pot and slowly add hot water whilst continually stirring. 

Each hot oil comes complete with its own stirring stick, what I like most about the New treatment is that instead of a wooden stick it comes with a cinnamon stick (such a lovely touch. 

When making your treatment It’s very important that you add the water very slowly! As you stir, the treatment will thicken up to create a creamy luxurious vivid red product. I have found that one treatment makes just under a 250g black pot full of product. 

Once all made you can then use the treatment on your hair . The luxurious creamy texture means the product sticks to the hair very well and makes it easy to coat every inch of your hair. Once on leave on for around 20minutes and then shampoo and condition like normal. 

After use I found my hair felt exstremly soft and had a wonderful shine. The New treatment left my hair feeling very nourished and the scent in my hair was just gorgeous. 

Although there is no release date yet for this product, it is such a great product that I am sure it will come to stores soon. Keep your eyes peeled online in the kitchen for it making an appearance there aswell! I really enjoyed trying the New hot oil treatment and will definitely be keeping my fingers crossed for its release. 

TOP TIP: This treatment will last up to 7 days in the fridge, meaning you don’t have to use it all in one go!
