Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar – Lush Review

It wouldn’t be a Lush Halloween without the every so glittery Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar. This Halloween favourite first made its appearance back in 2014 and since then has added a little bit of sparkly to everyone’s Halloween baths.

The Sparkly Pumpkin looks absolutely beautiful. Every Halloween range needs a pumpkin and the classic design of the products makes you want to decorate your house with it rather than popping it in your bath. If your not a fan of glitter and sparkly be warned this pumpkin is super sparkly which I personallly love! The Sparkly Pumpkin has also been made a little brighter this year giving it a little extra kick of colour in the bath.

The scent of this bubble bar is one that has taken me quite a lot of getting a use to. When I first tried the Sparkly Pumpkin I really wasn’t keen on it’s scent, but it has now grown on me an awful lot. Containing Juniperberry, Lime and Grapefruit Oil the Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar shares its scent with the Mr Punch Soap which was around in 2012.

When reading the ingredients lists I was expecting this bubble bar to be very fresh and fruity. I have concluded that it is Juniperberry that I’m not very keen on scent wise and it is this ingredients the give the bubbler bar it’s very unique scent. Although still fruity and zesty the bubble bar is defiantly more heavy, woody and also bitter than a lot of fruity products. This give the product a very warming feel and is a very sophisticated scent.

Although quite a small bubble bar it is still possibly to get two very bubbly baths out of it. Once broken in half all you have to do is crumble the bar under running water to create mountains of fluffy bubbles. The bubble bar turn the water a deep orange with a little touch of sparkly (don’t worry the water doesn’t turn super sparkly).

Overall although not my favourite scent, the Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar is a beautiful autumnal product and I’m looking forward to using it when I’m in need of something a little comforting to warm me up when winter gets here.

Do you like the scent of this product?
