When I first started using lush, dusting powders where a product that I found a little strange. Once I used one for the first time I fell in love and they are now one of my top products that I love to use.

So I was very excited when I found out that lush would be releasing a new dusting powder for Christmas and I was even more excited when I found out it was going to be snow fairy scented. 

I think fairy dust is a lovely Christmas product, it’s name is just adorable and is the perfect product for stocking fillers or to just treat your self with. 

 
Although the dusting powder bottles look quite small they are very deceiving as the product last for ages and ages! One little bottles could easily see you through a whole year! 

I love that the fairy dust dusting powder is a gorgeous pink colour ( anything pink is good with me), but don’t worry once on the skin it doesn’t leave you that colour. It also has a good helping of lustre, personally I love anything sparkly but I know I lot of people are put off by this. Once on the skin the lustre is very subtle and adds a very elegant shimmer to your skin. I like to use it as a bit of a high lighter and apply it to my collar bones. 

  
As I mentioned earlier the fairy dust dusting powder is snow fairy scented. The snow fairy scent is a very popular scent but is mainly only found over the Christmas period. This scent is a very sweet candy floss, bubblegum, candy scent. I found the the scent of the dusting powder lasted for ages once applied to the skin. 

I have found that rather than sprinkling the powder directly onto the body. it works better to sprinkle into your hand and then rub onto the skin, as it can end up being quite a messy process. As well as making your skin smell delicious it also makes it silky soft and would be even more gorgeous if paired with the snow fairy shower gel.

Over all I’m in love with this product and it’s defiantly going to be an all year round favourite of mine.

Top tip –  this can also be use to make you bed sheets smells magical! Just sprinkle a little onto your bed sheets and pillows.
