Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb

The Lord of Misrule scent has quite a large fan club and is a scent is that a lot of people seem to rave about. But I have never really been much of a fan of it when I’ve tried it in store and hence never purchased a product of its scent. But I thought I would bite the bullet and purchase the bath bomb to give It a proper try and see what I thought.

I really love it when a lush product has been made because it was inspired by something. The Lord of Misrule bath bomb was inspired by pagan tradition. In this tradition the Lord of Misrule would be appointed manly at Christmas to over see the feast of the fools. With such a lovely little back story. I was really quite intrigued to see what it had in store.

I love the look of this bath bomb, it is a lovely green colour with flecks of pink and white and has a cute little design around the edge which looks like it is wearing a little crown.

I found the scent quite unique with the Lord of Misrule bath bomb. The main ingredient which you can really pick up on is the patchouli which creates a very earthy herby scent, but you can also smell sweet vanilla and spicy black pepper which all in all creates a very pleasant scent which is defiantly starting to grow on me.

Once popped in the water the Lord of Misrule bath bomb starts to fizz away, creating waves of green and white froth across the surface of the bath and filling the room with its mischievous and delighting scent. Once it reaches its scents, bright red foam erupts creating mystical spirals of colour across the tub.

Overall I was delighted with this product and wish I had taken a chance and tried it a little sooner. It’s scent is so mischievous and I can’t wait to try some other products in the same scent family.
