Yoga Bomb

Firstly I absolutely love the name of this bath bomb, it just makes me think of people relaxing , meditating and doing the downwards dog! With this in mind I was really looking forward to trying it out and hoping that like its name it created a very relaxing and calming bath.

The yoga bomb is a fairly new bath bomb to the lush range, originally making its appearance as an Oxford street exclusive product, it is now available in most store and online. This like a few of the other new products didn’t particularly excited me straight away as compared to the elaborate look of some of the new products it looked a little boring, and due to this reason on my first trip to the flagship Oxford street store I didn’t pick one of these up.

But never less I also know how amazing some of the normal looking products can be. so I made sure on general release day that I picked one of these up to give it a go.

Lush describe this product as a way to

Take a journey of the self as reassuringly soothing sandalwood oil creates a sanctuary of calm in your bath. When you plunge this meditative fizzer into the water, slow mesmerising shades of oranges, purples and turquoise will unfurl. At the same time deeply relaxing olibanum and ho wood release, fragrancing your body and surroundings. It’s the ideal atmosphere to lie back and contemplate life.

This is such a lovely description of the product, I love how the mix of ingredients such as sandalwood oil and oilbanum and ho wood have been chosen specifically to create a relaxing and calming scent which in turn helps to create a very sensual and mesmerising bath.

Once this bath bomb hits the water the magic starts! It is quite a slow fizzer which is perfect for a relaxing bath. The bath bomb starts by creating mounds of orange foam which floats across the water and smells Devine.

At first this is all I thought was going to happen, but then the yoga bomb surprised me as it started to fizz a little faster as a blue/green centre emerged followed by a beautiful purple, together these three colour swirled together to created a stunning array of colours across the water which indeed was mesmerising . this of course was followed by a lovely lustre which helped to create a golden shimmering water.

This bath bomb is extremely moisturising and left my skin feeling silky soft, the scent wasn’t to strong, but was strong enough to leave a lovely scent on my skin.

This is definitely a bath product worth trying and would be great it you just need to unwind from a stressful day and forget all your worries! I will defiantly be picking up a couple more of these so I always have some there for when I need them.
