So as I have a very long drive ahead of me tonight,I thought I would use my time wisely and catch up on some of my blogging.I have been saving a few of my bath products that I got whilst at the Oxford street store as I didn’t want to use them up all in one go, but after finding out which products are getting released in all stores this Friday (07/08/15) . I’ve decided to use the ones that I will now be able to get from my local store. This also gives people the chance to read my views on some of the products before they buy them.
So as you may have gathered frozen is one of these products which will be soon released into all stores (very excited about this fact). I originally picked the frozen bath bomb mainly due to its name! It is inspired by the Disney smash hit film with the same name, and as I am such a huge fan of the film frozen I just knew that I had to try this bath bomb out. If I was to just see this product sitting on a shelf I probably wouldn’t really be drawn to it. Although it is large in size, colour wise it isn’t anything special, but it is a lovely blue colour with a darker blue swirl around the middle, which makes it suit it’s name of frozen and shows just how inspired it was by the Disney film.
Now I have learnt before that when it comes to lush products, the ones that don’t particular look very showy are often the most beautiful, so with this in mind I was very excited about trying out this bath bomb.
At first I was a little unsure about the scent of this bath bomb, I would say it is quite similar to the lush oxford streets love and light hand cream. It is a very light scent and not to overpowering. so this would be the perfect product if you wanted a nice calming and relaxing bath. The grapefruit oil in the bath bomb creates a lovely fruity scent and give it a slight uplifting feel but this is then mixed with a subtle floral scent.
After resisting the urge to have the frozen soundtrack accompany my bath (I felt this may have been a little to cheesy), I was pleasantly delighted by the show this bath bomb performed once it hit the water. It fizzes straight away, sending mounds of white foam over the surface of the water, this is followed by a gorgeous blue foam which combine to gether to create the most magical swirls over the surface of your bath. The bath bomb was also filled with lustre (which is apply called snowflake lustre) which creates a wonderfully glittery water. The most amazing thing I found about this product is the colour that it changed the water. I would like to be able to describe this colour to you, but it’s so hard to put into words. I would almost say that it is a blue/purple colour but the lustre that is contained in the bath bomb creates these endless swirls of shimmer in the water, it was truly stunning and I wish I could have captured it in a photo to show you all (but I guess you will have to try it for yourself to see just how magical it is).
In conclusion I think this is going to be one of my new staple bath bombs and I am very excited about it being released into general sale on Friday.
Top tip- you can happily chop this bath bomb in half and still experience a great bath and get the best of out this product.
