Unicorn Lip Scrub – Lush Review

As if it’s 2020 already!!! The last year has just flown by! But the start of a new year also means the brand new Lush Valentine’s Day range is released and this years (2020) plays host to loads of wonderful products.

The first product out of the range that I was most excited to try out was the new for this year Unicorn lip scrub! I’m a huge fan of Lush lips scrubs and I also love unicorns so this is a perfect product for me.

This magical scrub holds a wonderful surprise it has two colours!!!! The top layer is a beautiful blue and the bottom layer is a pastel pink, I’ve also heard people say it is two different flavours but as I haven’t made it past the first layer yet that will have to remain a little surprise if it is.

The Unicorn lip scrub is also possibly the best tasting lush lip scrub to date (if your new to lip scrubs yes you can eat them, but more about that later on) It is listed as tasting like blueberry muffins and plum pudding but for me I get less of a cake/pudding taste and more of a sweetie taste. To me the taste reminds me very much of a mixture between love hearts and and fizzes (the multi coloured sweets that look like Parma violets). It is almost a slightly sherbet taste.

The scent however does scream blueberry but more of a blueberry slush puppy rather than a blueberry muffin! Definitely less baked goods and more sweeties!

As with all scrubs it’s very easy for use, all you have to do is take a small amount on your finger and gently rub over your lips to exfoliate. You can then wipe away excess or if you like lick it off as all the ingredients are safe to eat and the unicorn scrub does taste rather good.

Overall I’m very impressed with this scrub!!!ive tried a lot of lip scrubs but this is by far my favourite. I’m also looking forward to trying the other new cherry lip scrub which is part of the spring range as that looks rather good as well.
