Wash Behind Your Ears Shower Gel – Lush Review

Oh wow how incredibly amazing is the name Wash Behind Your Ears! It just summons up imagines of fluffy bunnies do that super cute ear cleaning thing they do. Lush are always very creative when it comes to naming their products and I think this is such a perfect name for the brand new shower gel that was released this year as part of the Easter range.

The bright orange colour of this shower gel is a little bit deceiving. As one of the ingredients of the shower gel is carrot infusion, I did think this shower gel was going to contain the same scent as the Bunch of Carrots Reusable bubble bar and the Snowman shower jelly which also contain carrot infusion.

This however is not the case at all. Although it is possible to pick up a slight hint of the carrot infusion this shower gel is in fact a very strong floral scent. Containing rose and jasmine these are the two ingredients that are the strongest and most noticeable in the shower gel. The scent of the Wash Behind Your Ears shower gel is very fresh and uplifisting and perfect for this time of the year. I am not a huge floral fan so I was a little disappointed that this was the prominent scent, as I would have much preferred something a little more citrus and zingy from the shower gel.

As with all of the reformulated lush shower gels the Wash Behind Your Ears gel has a lovely luxurious thick texture. A little goes a long way with this shower gel and it lathers up very well to create a creamy lather. The scent stays nice and strong throughout use and it was even possible to pick up on the scent once out of the shower.

Overall although not my favourite scent I have still thoroughly enjoyed using this shower gel. Wash Behind Your Ears is such a great name for an Easter product and the bright colour of the gel helps to lift your spirits and put a spring into your step.
