Over and Over Bath Bomb – Lush Review

I was super excited when I saw that the Over and Over bath bomb was making an appearance as part of this years Valentine’s Day range. I first tried this bath bomb when it was first released at the 2016 Lush Creative Showcase and instantly fell in love with it. Although making a brief appearance on the Lush Kitchen, this is the first time that it has been available to buy in store.

The Over and Over bath bomb has a very bright and colourful design. Featuring a half yellow half orange colour scheme, this is a product that is bound to pop a smile on your face. One thing that I particularly love about the Over and Over bath bomb is its dipped design. This idea of dipping the bath bomb in a wax like oil has been seen before in the likes of the Roller bath bomb and the Never Mind the Ballistics bath bomb and seems to be a huge hit. This technique allows the bath bomb to be extremely moisturising as once in the water the outer shell melts in the same way and with the same benefits as a bath oil or bath Melt would.

The Over and Over bath bomb has a lovely fresh scent perfect for lifting the spirits and clearing the mind. The main ingredient in this bath bomb is lime oil. I wouldn’t say it has a strong lime scent however. I feel the scent is a more sherberty citrus scent. It took me a while to decide what the scent reminded me of but I eventually realised the scent really reminded me of lemsip, which is very strange as there is no lemon in the ingredients at all.

Once popped in the water this is when the magic really starts to happen. As the yellow bath bomb slowly fizzes the orange shell melts away creating droplets of oil on the surface of the water. Once the bath bomb reaches its core swirls or bright pink dance across the water creating the most beautiful display. If you like bath art you will adore this bath bomb.

Overall this is a wonderful Bath Bomb, although the scent is a little strange and may not be everyone’s cup of tea. The Over and Over bath bomb is beautiful in the water and leave the skin feeling hydrated and silky smooth. I’m so glad this bath bomb is on sale and highly recommend giving it a try.
