Snowie Bubble Bar – Lush Review

2016 saw the passing of many great icons including the music legend David Bowie. After his passing fans of both him and his music paid tribute all over the word. These touching tributes are what inspired Lush to create the Snowie bubble bar.

The Snowie bubble bar not only pays tribute to Bowie in its name but also in its tiny details. The pearlescent snow white bubble bar has a hand rolled lightning bolt on its belly which is from the Aladdin Sane album and the bubble bar also features two different colours eyes just like Ziggy Stardust himself.

The Snowie bubble bar has a beautiful fresh floral scent. Containing grapefruit, neroli and rose oils the bubble bar has a delicate yet sophisticated scent which will soothe the senses and boost your mood.

This is actually quite a small bubble bar compared to some from Lush, however there is defiantly enough to create at least two very bubbly baths. Once crumbled under warm running water the bubble bar instantly creates mountains of white soft bubbles. The scent remained very delicate however I could still pick up on it thought out my entire bath. I wouldn’t say this bubble bar wasn’t very moisturising nor did it create a very colourful or eye catching bath. but I did love how it’s delicate scent lingered on the skin.

Overall this is a lovely floral bubble bar with an incredible story behind it! If you know anyone who loves David Bowie or that loves their floral scents this is the bubble bar for them.
