Due to all the excitement of the Christmas products I have really neglected the staple range of products that lush have to offer. I was very lucky this Christmas as my partner brought be a selection of this range of products for Christmas and I fell in love with then all over again.
The fizzbanger is actually inspired by the BFG, the BFG (big friendly giant) by Roald Dahl was one of my favourite books as a child. so I was really looking forward to trying a bath bomb that was inspired by this magical and total brilliant book.
To fizzbanger isn’t really anything special to look at. It is a nice large size bath bomb and is a lovely yellow colour. but don’t let its modest appearance fool you as it is anything but ordinary once in the water.
I totally love the scent of the fizzbanger bath bomb, it is a very interesting scent. at first sniff it a very citrusy scent, but more of a sweet citrus scent than a sharp one. I found it was a little more of an apple scent than Lemmon one, which what I expected from its colour. What I also loved it that when this bath bomb reaches its core, it’s adds a lovely cinnamon scent to the mixture, giving the scent an added touch of spice and making it smell a little like apple pies.
Once put in the water the fizzbanger starts to fizz creating lashings of yellow foam accross the surface of the water of the bath. Then it’s starts emit a lovely bright blue colour creating gorgeous swirls across the surface of the water.
what I love the most is it contains popping candy! This is one of my all time favourite lush ingredients I just adore the little bit of excitement that it adds to a product. But after all this wonder when you think it has all finished, a tiny little piece of paper floats to the surface of the water with the words BANG!! Written on it. What a brilliant finishing touch.
Overall I am a huge fan of this bath bomb and it is defiantly one of my firm favourites. It might not look the most exciting but the scent is just wonderful and it is full of surprises.
