Rainbow Fun

Although I totally love lush and all their products. There are still quite a few products that I havnt given much attention to. One of these products is FUN.

Fun is a multipurpose bar that can be used as soap, shampoo and bubble bath the list is endless. You can pretty much use it as anything.

When I found out that lush where releasing a new bar of fun called Rainbow Fun, I thought it would be the perfect time to get stuck in and try this exciting product out.

Rainbow fun is a little more exspensive than an average bar of fun. But it is slightly larger than your average bar. This is mainly due to the fact that the rainbow bar features a peice of all seven colours currently avalible.

What I really like about the rainbow fun is that each colour keeps its individual scent, rather than all of the colours smelling the same. So this is the perfect way to try all of the colours without purchasing a full bar.

The colours that are included in the rainbow fun are blue, pink, purple, green, red, orange and yellow.

BLUE: has a light lavender scent.

PINK: has a candy scent.

PURPLE: has a bla current berry scent (similar to the comforter scent)

GREEN: has a zesty lemon and lime scent.

RED: has a sweet mandarin scent.

ORANGE: has an uplifting orange scent.
YELLOW: has a                   warm vanilla scent.

Another thing I like about Fun is that 2.5% of profits made on each bar, goes towards their charity FunD. This is then given out in grants to projects providing fun and recreational activities for children living in challenging environments, such as those in Japan hit by nuclear disaster or the 2011 tsunami.

So as I mentioned earlier fun is very versatile and can be used in all manner of ways such as soap shampoo or as a bubble bar.

One of the things I love is that Fun is intact ‘fun’. Being very similar in constancy to playdough it means it is mouldable and can be used to make little models (the model in the picture is not made with rainbow fun but a Christmas fun, it gives you an idea of what you can make though). This is especially good for making bath time fun for children but also great for those young at heart.

I do tend to find that if I keep my fun bar while in the bathroom it goes a little squishy. So I tend to cut my bar up into little useable pieces and keep them in an old lush black pot to stop them from getting damp.

If you do have a bar with more than one colour you can roll them together to create little marble peices of fun.

Overall I am now a huge fan of fun and can’t wait to try out some more of the range.
