Carrot Cake Lip Scrub – Lush Review

Lip scrubs are definitely one of my all time favourite products from Lush!!! They were also one of the first ever products that I tried and I have loved them ever since.

The carrot cake lip scrub smells AMAZING!!!!! This lip scrub literally smells like carrot cake and I was not expecting that at all. The scent is a yummy sweet, rich, maple

, gooey cake scent and really does smell good enough to eat.

My favourite part about the lip scrubs is that is you actually did fancy eating a bit you could! Made mainly from sugar these scrubs are designed so that they can be licked off the lips after use.

To use all you have to do it take a small amount and gently rub it over your lips. It can then be wiped off or licked off if you prefer!!!

There is a whole host of wonderful oils in this lip scrub which means you lips are left baby soft and feeling very moisturised. I love to use these scrubs before applying my lipstick to make up I have nice smooth lips!

The taste of the Carrot cake lip scrub isn’t quite as good as it’s scent. I have a bit of a weird thing with salt, where I don’t actually like the taste of it in lips scrubs as it makes me feel sick (not sure why as I love it on food) and the carrot cake lips scrub contains salt as well as sugar. The taste however is a very sweet carrot cake flavour and really does just taste like cake with an added pinch of salt!!! This is just a personally option so if you don’t mind salt I think you will more than likely love this flavour.

Overall I’m really impressed with the carrot cake like a scrub! The scent is incredible I just wish they had left the salt out!!
