Aster La Vista Soap – Lush Review

Well the Aster La Vista Lush Labs soap has completely won me over!! I’m not sure if it due to it beautiful design or the fact that it shares its scent with my all time favourite scent family!!!

The Aster La Vista soap design if one of the new 3D soaps that Lush have created. The 3D soaps are designed to be able to stand up on the edge of your bath or shower and are sized to fit nicely into your hand whilst in use. The disign on the front of the soap is proud (3D) and in this case is of a very beautiful flower. I also love the colours that have been used in the Aster La Vista soap they are very fresh and bright and perfect for this time of year (spring/summer).

Whilst using this soap it look me a while to put 2 and 2 together to work out what its scent was. I new that I had smelt the scent before and I new that I loved it but I couldn’t put my finger on what it was. Eventually I worked out that the scent was the same as the snowman shower jelly (from Christmas) and the bunch of carrots bubble bar (from Easter), the scent of these products is one of my all time favourite scents so I really should have worked out sooner what the scent was.

Whilst using this soap I was a little disappointed to find just how quickly it dissolved. I always do my best to keep my soap of the water when not in use but it still seemed to get small very quickly. For the price of this soap I really would have liked to see it lasting a lot longer. One thing I really loved about the Aster La Vista soap was that it contains little scrubby particles so you end up getting a slight exfoliation as well.

The Aster la Vista soap lathered up very well and the scent really is beautiful. I loved how the scent lingered on my skin and my bathroom smelt beautiful for ages after.

Overall I have really enjoyed using the Aster la Vista soap and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it gets released into stores at some point.
