So tonight is my first blog post, and after tonight’s amazing bath i have decided that for my first post i will review the Intergalactic bath bomb.

Intergalactic is a bath bomb currently only available in the lush oxford street store. Although several of the Oxford Street products have been seen on the Lush Kitchen site which allows most of us who are unable to get to London the chance to try some of these exclusive products.

At first sight i was drawn to Intergalactic due to its array of bright colours, but also due to its strong but not over powering scent. Normally i cut my bath bombs into half so that they last me more than one bath, but tonight i decided as this was the first time that i had used this bath bomb that i would use the whole product in one go.

Once dropped into the bath the colours exploded creating the most beautiful pattern on the surface of the bath of pinks, blues, yellows and purples (i did try to get a picture of the swirls of colour but couldn’t capture its pure beauty). The bath pretty much instantly turned a very-deep shade of blue, but when you reach the middle of the bath bomb there is a gorgeous, golden lustre center, which creates a  the most wonderful shimmering effect. I love the name of this product as it pretty much creates a mini galaxy in your bath, so the name Intergalactic is very fitting.

The Scent of Intergalactic is very citric and in the store drew me straight to it, as i am a huge fan of citrus scents. I believe that the smell is a mixture of peppermint and grapefruit which creates an extremely fresh and uplifting scent. Intergalactic is defiantly going to be one of my favorite-summer products due to its calming and cooling ability’s.

Now the best and most exciting part about this product is the popping candy! i love popping candy. I loved it as a child and i love it now, also their is nothing more exciting than finding out a product has popping candy. I know that i look of people don’t like popping candy in their bath products, but personally i find it exciting and it always makes me smile.

my top tip for this product would be to maybe only use half at a time, as the colour is very strong and may be a little over powering for some people.

Overall i was extremely impressed with the Intergalactic bath bomb and i am very much looking forward to it hopefully hitting general release soon.
